In December of 2025, I graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors (3.97 GPA) from Southern University and A&M College. I was recognized as the student marshal for the College of Sciences and Engineering. This achievement took dedication, sacrifice, and a strong desire to grow and develop.
My academic career at Southern University required me to become familiar with using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, among other software. One notable personal project involved independently teaching myself advanced Excel functions to create an automated method for tracking student hours to close an efficiency gap in my Computer Lab Assistant position.
I have completed several projects that helped to build, refine, and reinforce an aptitude for scripting, coding, and automation. My comfortable languages are C++ and Python, but I am able to quickly pick up and utilize any coding language due to my thorough introduction to programming languages at Southern University.
My experience with hardware, software, networking, and peripheral device support started when I was young and continued into my professional life. I also had the great fortune of working in Southern University's IT department during the entire process of earning my degree. I am experienced with both Windows and Apple devices.
My main goal is to gain employment and develop myself professionally. In order to achieve this goal, I will begin work on earning certifications, such as A+, Networking+, Security+, and others. In the near future, I also plan on furthering my education with a Master's degree. Anything I can do to refine my skills and build on my experience is something I am interested in.
